Hunts and Peterborough League

In 2024 the club entered 3 Mixed teams, 2 Ladies teams, and 3 Mens teams in to the Hunts and Peterborough League and they had a mixed season. The following is a summary of the season:

Our Mixed A team finished mid-table in Division 2 after winning 3 of their 6 games. The Mixed B team also finished mid-table in Division 3 after winning 2 of their 6 games and drawing 1.  The Mixed C team unfortunately finished bottom of Division 4 after not winning any of their matches resulting their demotion to Division 5. 

Our Ladies A team came 3rd in Division 2, just missing out on promotion.  Our Ladies B team unfortunately finished bottom of Division 3, resulting in their demotion to Division 4 next season.

Our Mens A team finished mid-table in Division 1. Our Mens B team unfortunately finished 6th of the 7 teams in Division 2, and so are demoted to Division 3 joining the Mens C team who finished mid-table in Division 3. 

It would be great to get some more ladies in the league teams and maybe even enter a third ladies team. So if you would like to join one of the teams, or know someone else who would, please speak to the ladies captain, Helen Kemp, or any of the committee.
