About Us

 Whether you are interested in social tennis, or competitive tennis, we're pleased to welcome everyone of any ability.  We have three carpet courts, which are open throughout the year.  During the summer we have three club sessions a week, on Tuesday morning from 9:30, Thursday evening from 6pm and Sunday afternoon from 2pm. We also organise regular tournaments.  We organise internal doubles and singles ladders throughout the year. There is also the opportunity for league match play in the local Huntingdon and Peterborough league.

We have approximately 200 members, most of whom live in the Hemingfords, but also have members from St Ives and surrounding villages.  We have around 60 junior members and organise coaching during the summer months on a Saturday morning (see the Junior Coaching section of this website).  This is with our qualified LTA Coach James Stevens. 

To encourage juniors we have a 'junior' and 'student' membership and to promote family involvement we have a special rate for family membership.  We also have a 'parent' membership to enable a parent to play with their son and/or daughter without having to be a full adult member.

In February 2025 we reopened our courts after the biggest project in the club’s history. We now have a wonderful new Tiger Turf surface on all three courts, but also, perhaps more importantly, we now have floodlights. This means that we can accommodate play much later in to the evening, not only in the winter months, but also in the dull spring, autumn and summer months.
